Hey folks I'm back, from a very relaxing and beautiful trip to the Holy Land. One day me and my two sisters went to Tel Aviv, to a flea market called Shuk Hapishpashim. It was amazing to see rows and rows of shops filled with antiques, vintage clothes (and garbage!)Ahhh I think I'm ready for another vacation, I'm soo tired!

what she ate 2day

I made a new blog today called "What She Ate Today." It's a journal of the food stuffs I ate throughout the day. I read it's good to keep an account of your food, to see what your consuming. (let's see how long it lasts;) 

The blog is private, with one reader: yours truly!

 I made on Illustrator an illustration of todays breakfast.

 Coffee + Shredded Wheat + Chocolate (in the coffee)

Pretty in Pucci

cards

I decided to start a store on Etsy selling cards, stickers and banners...At the same time I  enrolled at Art School. I am only one person (for now). So I put my shop on vacation mode. Maybe during mid-winter I'll re-open it and post my stuff. For now I'll share the cards I made. This one will be embellished with some little colored stones..Like it?? Please let me know what you think, thanks!

ticket :(

I  was circling before for a spot, to get lunch.

 I heard sirens, then saw a police behind me; I was pulled over!!

I wasn't wearing my seatbelt.

The officer asked me why, and i said because i was hoping to find a  spot.

He went back to his car, wrote me a nice big ticket.

When he came back to hand me the ticket, he gave me a big speech about the importance of wearing a seatbelt even if your looking for parking...!

He said he didn't give me points...just have to pay.

After he walked away, I 

WAAAAAAAAAed abit.

LESSON LEARNT: WEAR YOUR SEATBELT!!!

what's new? :art school!!

Yes! 

As of today I am enrolled in Art Instruction Schools!! 

I'm really excited to embark on this at-home art correspondence course. This school has been around since 1914. 

Charles Shulz, illustrator of the Peanuts comic strip, learnt here, hence the cartoon. 

A guy came to my house today from the state to see if I can really draw..was funny.

 It's pretty intense. I sat there drawing  tonight for about 4.5 hours and I'm not even done the practice yet! 

But, I love this stuff.

 Now is the foundation,for beginners, no fun doodles. After you complete the first lesson you mail it back and get it back graded with the next lesson. I believe there are 27 lessons in total. They cover pencil, ink, paint, cartooning, fashion illustration...:)

I won't be having so much time to blog ... But, I'll try my bestest to keep you updated on my life and progress here at AIS..
